EU-China Communication on Targeted International Matchmaking

On May 18th, 2018, China Center for Urban Development successfully held 2018 EU-China Sustainable Urban Forum on Intelligent Technology Innovation in Tianjin under the guidance of National Development and Reform Commission and European Commission Directorate General for Research and Innovation. During the Forum, China Center for Urban Development and European Union Chamber of Commerce in China co-hosted an event for the communication on targeted international matchmaking, namely the EU-China City-Industry Roundtable Dialogue. A total of 70 guests from 7 cities and 28 EU enterprises were involved in the event.

The event aims to provide a platform for the targeted international matchmaking between Chinese cities and European enterprises. The event will bring advanced European technology and innovative management models to Chinese cities and promote the sustainable and innovative development of Chinese cities. A wide range of topics will be discussed, including the environment, energy, low-carbon cities, car, construction, information technology, high-end manufacturing and biomedicine.
